Liz Baile
Director of Student Services, Yellowknife Catholic Schools (YCS)
Liz Baile has been an educator with Yellowknife Catholic Schools in the Northwest Territories for 35 years. During this time she has held many positions in school and district administration. Liz has a master’s degree in Diverse Learners from UBC and is currently working on Women’s Transformational Leadership (Social Justice) out of St. Paul’s/Ottawa University. Liz is the district’s Self Regulation Facilitator and maintains other certifications. In 1996, she assisted in the territorial revision of the NWT Inclusive Education Directive. Liz is currently the Director of Student Services and oversees the district implementation of Jordan’s Principle supports, coordination of all Inclusive Schooling services, professional development and school-based teams development. Liz is passionate about the Indigenous Ways of Knowing, TRC’s Calls to Action, competency-based IEPS, well-being and collaborative team learning systems.
